Job Description
Can you help us put our customers first? Are you an upbeat, positive-thinking problem solver who isn’t happy until their customer is happy? Then we want to meet you! GENLED Brands is seeking a full-time (40 hrs./week) Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for assisting customers with new and current orders by responding to quote and pricing requests and providing product sales and service support to our customers, vendors and our sales team. A successful Customer Service Representative can remain professional and courteous at all times while offering timely and accurate assistance. We need someone who knows that no problem is too big (or too small) to provide our partners with stellar assistance.


Responsibilities


  • Process order fulfillment for domestic and international orders.
  • Confirm and enter new purchase orders into our computer system.
  • Cross-functional training within the department.
  • Handle post-sales issues.
  • Bridge communication between customers and production department.
  • Discover client needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Handle miscellaneous duties including entering product codes, assisting sales staff, etc.
  • Build rapport with our clients (new or existing) through email and over the phone.
  • Respond in a timely manner to any customer inquiries and requests.


Requirements


  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics Great Plains (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 3+ years of customer service experience (LED lighting industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good phone etiquette and strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid teamwork abilities to contribute to a positive environment
  • Ability to respond to client needs in a positive manner while maintaining professional demeanor
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Familiarity with inventory and order processing software
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
