POSITION SUMMARY
RAM Windows is searching for motivated, eager candidates for our Outside Sales Trainee program to ultimately join either Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, or Houston offices after completion of the 6–12-month program. The Outside Sales Trainee will sell products and services offered by our company to current and new customers. The ideal candidate will be highly competitive and a motivated fast learner, strong multitasking ability, excellent follow-up skills, and detail oriented. He/she will be an expert communicator with success in building customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong Written and Oral Communication skills - possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
- Promote and sell RAM products and services.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Recognize opportunities in the market, increase sales and exceed sales goals.
- Help develop RAM growth by supporting inside and outside sales by securing new business through B2B sales of Windows and Doors
- Competitive fast-paced & energetic, while being detail-oriented
- Utilize showroom as a sales tool to assist customers.
- Maintain daily reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any other issues.
- Selling a target market to existing and prospective building contractors, remodeling contractors, architects and distributors
- Provide periodic territory sales forecasts as requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
REQUIRED JOB-RELATED SPECIFICATIONS:
- Competency and proficiency in Microsoft’s Suite of products, specifically Excel
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated interest in sales, based on previous jobs or academic preparation.
- Ability to relocate within the Houston, Austin, and DFW metros strongly preferred.
- All-around business professional with exceptional communication etiquette
- High energy, self-motivated, highly competitive, and ambitious
- Reliable, honest and high level of Integrity
- Willing to go the “extra mile” to provide a high level of customer service.
- Organized, strong communication, self-discipline, and great social skills.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Committed to setting and achieving goals.
- Ability to build quick rapport and develop long-term relationships with customers.
- Must be able to work well individually and on a team.
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and/or climb on different terrains.
- Judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, reading/writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written)
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 50%

Compensation: $75k base salary plus uncapped commission opportunity (Ability to earn $100,000 to $350,000+ based on the individual’s drive / ambition)
