Summary:

We are looking for an Operations & Investment Associate to join our team.

Primary Duties:

• Manual trading – equity, fixed income, family accounts
• Update of market overview and presentations
• Proxy voting
• EVestment updates
• Hedge Fund pricing weekly
• Manage loan updates
• Monthly reporting for a few high-net-worth clients (special report)
• Monthly appraisal reporting for certain high-net-worth clients
• Assist with internal audit
• Entity review
• Weekly stock screens from Bloomberg
• Have ownership of K1’s for all clients
• Taxable composites
• Update description pending report for alternative investments
• Capital call money movements
• Manage earnings calendar and distribution of printed material for investment meetings
• Sub-docs for alternative investments
• New account setups
• Asset allocation review – spreadsheets and the trading tool
• Ad hoc reporting
• GIPS composite and database process
• Updating portfolios on Bloomberg
• Meeting preparation and follow ups

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in investment management, investment banking, or related field.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
