Portfolio Management (Real Estate)

Our client is a global NYC based Real Estate Alternative Asset Manager seeking to add a highly motivated Senior Analyst for their growing Investment team. This opportunity is very well suited for a Real Estate professional who has passion for Investing (Real Estate) and is looking for end to end deal exposure. The ideal candidate will be heavily involved in all aspects of Real Estate investing; Asset Management & Acquisitions including but not limited to research valuations, asset management, due diligence, investment research/pitch presentation, financial modeling and underwriting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed investment analysis on portfolio included but not limited to budgets, profitability forecast and operating expense calculation models
• Support potential acquisition recommendations through statistical analysis
• Conduct/test valuations models by utilizing Argus/Excel/DCF
• Prepare investor communications, including but not limited to financial forecasts, reporting and financial estimates
• Review of company financials performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed models.
• Present due diligence/potential risks/ and make recommendations to Investment Committee
• Oversee back-testing of investments analytical framework and cash-flow forecasts
• Work with Compliance, Legal and Marketing Teams
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing process with Senior Management/Board of Directors

Requirements:

• Advanced Technical Skills; Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
• Minimum of 2+ years Asset Management/Consulting/Valuations/Research or applicable (Private Equity/Real Estate/Banking) experience
• ARGUS Modeling experience strongly preferred
• Top Academic pedigree
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Corporate Development/M&A/Transaction Advisory/Asset Management
• 2+ years of professional experience mandatory
