Real Estate Analyst Jobs

We are looking for a Real Estate Analyst to join our Global Real Estate team as part of our Global Workplace Services (GWS) team. You will report into our Global Head of Real Estate.

We cover all aspects and the full life cycle of our buildings and consist of GWS Performance & PMO, Real Estate, Workplace Build Projects, Workplace Experience & Support (Facility Management, Workplace IT and Travel) and Business Protection.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our Global Real Estate team and will be responsible to drive the administrative components of our Real Estate process, from maintaining our internal lease tracking database, assisting in forecasting analysis for our office portfolio, and supporting our transaction cadence globally. In addition, you will help aggregate and digest strategic planning analytics in coordination with the Strategic Planning Lead and additional internal partners. Further development opportunities could become available for the right candidate. Our existing portfolio consists of workplace and production facilities, i.e. music and podcast studios. You will have many partners, such as Business Leads, Projects Managers, Facility Managers, IT, Legal, Finance and external suppliers.

Who You Are

• Drive continuous development in standard operating procedures to streamline and optimize processes across the portfolio
• Coordinate, remit and track payments associated with lease obligations including rent, security deposits, opex, real estate taxes etc.
• Aggregate and analyze data from various teams to assist with strategic planning of Real Estate portfolio
• Participate in the development of our Real Estate strategy and contribute to its execution
• Update and maintain lease tracking databases (inclusive of review/abstraction of key lease terms and financial impact)
• Act as point of contact for occupancy relationship management both internally (Facility Management) and externally (Landlords)
• Monitor lease deadlines and advise team members of key dates
• Assist in completion of quarterly forecasting with internal teams
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on any lease related inquiries

What You'll Do

• Deep understanding of key lease provisions and ability to expertly read and interpret lease language
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite of applications
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with both internal and external partners
• Have the interest and drive to expand knowledge and responsibilities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Fluent in spoken and written English together with strong communication skills
• You have at least 3+ years experience as a real estate analyst or relevant lease administration experience (global scope a plus)
• Detail oriented with consistent track record of proficiency with analyzing data to provide strategic insights
• General understanding of budget preparation, financial analysis, and construction and project management
• Accustomed to working in a high paced international environment where change is the only constant

The United States base range for this position is $64,665- $92,379, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
