Company Overview

A $4Bn aum real estate asset management company specializing in both debt and equity is seeking a Head of Capital Raising to join the team. You will be responsible for leading the capital raising efforts, forging partnerships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals to secure funding for real estate investment opportunities. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute capital raising strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.

Head of Capital Raising Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive capital raising strategy in line with the company's investment goals and objectives.
• Prepare compelling investment presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of the firm's investment opportunities to potential investors.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements related to capital raising and investor relations.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of professionals involved in capital raising activities.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and the executive team on fundraising activities, progress, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including acquisitions, asset management, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of capital raising initiatives.
• Drive fundraising efforts through targeted outreach, networking, and attending industry conferences and events.
• Negotiate investment terms and agreements with investors, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment strategy and objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing investors, providing regular updates on investment performance and proactively addressing investor inquiries and concerns.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with institutional investors, pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead due diligence processes with prospective investors, coordinating with internal teams to provide required information and documentation.
• Monitor market trends, investor preferences, and regulatory changes to adapt and refine capital raising strategies accordingly.

Head of Capital Raising Requirements:

• Strong network of contacts within the institutional investor community.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• At least 10+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or a similar role within the real estate asset management industry.
• Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• In-depth understanding of real estate asset management, investment vehicles, and capital markets.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve fundraising targets and goals.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective capital raising strategies.
