A private practice run by a Psychiatric APRN in Madison, CT is seeking an Office Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to expand.

As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support the APRN and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This includes greeting the patients, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, responding to emails/messages, and billing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic health record software a plus
• Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
• Ideal for nursing students!
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of medical office environment, medical terminology and basic medical procedures a plus but not required
