Non-University Of Iowa Patient Escort/Valet

The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics department of Guest Services is seeking Patient Escorts to assist hospital patients, families and guests. Responsibilities include transporting patients to/from clinics, units and procedure areas via wheelchair or patient bed; escorting approved visitors to inpatient units; greeting and welcoming patients and visitors outside hospital entrances; providing directions; assisting with unloading/loading patient belongings in/out of vehicles, restocking wheelchairs at key entrances and delivering belongings to patient rooms. Minimum of 12 hours per week, 4 hours per shift. Sunday through Saturday, day and evening shifts available. Minimum requirements: excellent customer service skills, reliable, effective communicator, positive attitude, able to walk long distances.

Start times 7a-6p M-F; Sat 7:30a-6p/Sunday 10a-4p

Pay $13.00/hr
