Job Description

Shift: Varied

Seasonal

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining equipment for jockeys.
  • Checks that each rider is wearing the proper silks and helmet number.
  • Cleaning of jockey’s quarters.
  • Saddling horses for each race.

Requirements: Minimum of one year experience in the field preferred. Indoor and outdoor work environment. Heavy physical demands. Saddling up to twenty horses each race card. Thorough knowledge of horse and rider's racing equipment and saddling for horses. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Proof of Covid vaccination, partial Covid vaccination, or medical/religious exemption is required for employment.
