Job Description

The National Multicultural Trade Sales Manager will work with Trade, Brand, Field Sales, distributors and agencies to lead the development of our national off and on-premise multicultural programs and plans.Manager will focus on developing commercially strong sales programs, tactics and tools that are aligned with our brand, target consumers/shoppers and the key occasions we’re looking to leverage.Plans can be integrated vertically ATL and horizontally through e-premise where it makes sense.


This role will be the expert in Brand Commercial Activation at the consumer’s “Moment of Choice” and drive National BTL plans that appropriately expounds upon the virtues of the brand to ensure commercial reality is integrated into brand/shopper plans.Our multicultural plans should be easy to understand, communicate, sell-in and execute across our priority off-premise and on-premise sub-sales channels.


This role will also collaborate with Brand Marketing on ATL multicultural plans, with the National Events team to identify multicultural event opportunities and local teams on localized program opportunities.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

National Multicultural Trade Program Responsibilities:

  • Develop program recaps and evaluation of national MC programs and field execution in-market
  • Collaborate with Trade, Brand, Field Sales to develop programming concepts, tactics and tools that build brand advocacy with our bartender communities across multicultural markets.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop programming and merchandising that is on brand strategy, commercially strong and relevant to our target consumers and occasions
  • Lead national multicultural sales and promotion planning, gaining consensus with Trade, Brand and Field Sales on National Multicultural Calendars
  • Be the conduit to share multicultural sales best practices and learnings across the US
  • Develop communication, selling and execution tools for National multicultural plans and on-going brand and trade opportunities utilizing data and fact based insights to arm our sales and distributor teams to plan, sell and execute with excellence
  • Assist with managing team timelines, key development milestones and planning for all National MC focused program photo/video shoots & asset development
  • Lead development of national and seasonal drink strategies, cocktail menus, imagery and recipes for all MC programming and brand selling needs which expound upon the virtues of the brand
  • Work with multicultural stakeholders to develop ‘Lifestyle’ activation/sampling plans and toolkits (ex. TalkShop, Day Parties, etc) that have national application.
  • Lead development of relevant visibility POS and merchandising standards across MC channels to advertise the brand
  • Ensure relative cross-channel consistency between the on and off-premise/ecommerce mixology strategy tied to core MC programs
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders across our business to develop and manage a roster of mixologists that meet the range of MC business needs


National Multicultural Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Brand team on multicultural ATL communication and support
  • Act as thought partner to Brand, Trade, Customer Marketing, National Events, Sales and distributors
  • Collaborate with e-comm team to ensure plans and tools are in place to capture multicultural account opportunities
  • Liaise with local markets on regional / local program development to ensure programming is on brand strategy and commercially strong that illustrate the virtues of the product
  • Work with National Events team and regional sales to identify multicultural/ Lifestyle sampling event opportunities


Administrative and Organizational:

  • Assist in trafficking projects through internal teams and external partners
  • Tracking budget vs spending details across trade marketing multicultural initiatives
  • Assist with invoice submissions to corporate for trade marketing multicultural initiatives


KEY SKILLS: This role requires a thorough understanding of brand strategy, category & sub-channel data, commercial insight and multicultural drinker/consumer, trade and market trends.

Organization, managing multiple programs, elements with varying timelines

Communication, both written and oral ensuring all parties are clear and current at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-6 years' experience in Trade Sales and Marketing, Field Marketing, Brand or Customer Marketing

• 4-year College Degree

• AlcBev Experience a plus

• Ideally located in Austin, Texas. If located outside of Texas, must be in one of the following states: FL, SC, TN, NV

• 15% Travel
