☻ Who we are: Maps is an artist created and run music licensing agency located in Portland, Oregon. We represent rare vintage, and upcoming artists from around the world, and place their music in projects for advertisements, T.V. and Film. We focus on artist education and advocacy, and hope to find someone equally enthusiastic in supporting artists.

☻ Role description: The Music Licensing Creative will be the point person for fielding client projects, music searches, licensing quotes, and executing licensing agreements. This role also works to maintain and grow our client base through outreach and follow up, as well as with occasional in person meetings and travel to support marketing efforts.

☻ Who we are looking for: We are looking for A GOOD PERSON first and foremost. We care way more about a good hang, and a kind person, over experience and connection in the field. We are looking for someone who loves music, and cares about advocacy of the arts. All that said, it is a huge bonus if you have direct experience and connections in Music Licensing, are a musician, Producer who has worked in Advertising or Film, or work in a music adjacent field (not required). We work in what can be an extremely time sensitive industry, and need someone who is reliable, highly organized, and pays great attention to detail. Because of the nature of this work we foster as much care for our team as possible to ensure everyone is getting proper work life balance.

☻ Experience: 1-2 yrs + experience in Music Licensing.
