POSITION SUMMARY - Beauty Industry Experience Required

The ideal Texas-based Rare Beauty Pro Artist (preferably within Houston or Dallas) will be an ambassador for the brand in Sephora. The Beauty Pro Artist will help deliver the Rare Beauty education and training experiences for Sephora Beauty Advisors. They will implement 360 training programs on brand products, application techniques and services to prepare the Sephora Beauty Advisors to deliver best-in-class services and product recommendations. They will be seen as an ambassador and a lead artist for the brand helping to create a community of positivity and the celebration of being rare. The role will also require creating engaging and creative digital content and tutorials for various social media platforms for the brand to help build brand awareness and loyalty. This is a permanent contract position.

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create consistent, meaningful content on Rare Beauty social media platforms, including writing and executing social media posts in conjunction with the marketing department, while promoting social media campaigns, product launches and ongoing brand themes
• Deliver effective and interactive trainings by communicating the brand story in an authentic voice, and educating on product points of difference and application techniques to elevate in-store and online experiences
• Educate and inspire Sephora Beauty Advisors by conducting in-store brand trainings, events, education seminars, master classes, etc.

MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement brand focus trainings and follow up on content to ensure consistency in messaging and application
• Support product marketing campaigns and other company initiatives through social to ensure successful execution, and to drive online engagement
• Execute high level events and represent the company as a Rare Beauty Pro Artist for personal appearances and other large-scale events

ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge within the training and content realms (product, artistry, service experience)
• Additional responsibilities as required
• Monitor travel and expense budgets within the criteria of the company's policy
• Promote and exhibit brand values of positivity and inclusivity with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude
• Provide feedback on product, sales and education content to the Director of Education to scale Beauty Advisor & client engagement
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must reside in the Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth area
• 15% in home office + 85% in store
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
• Minimum of 3+ years in training and education in the cosmetics industry
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Strength with time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
