Summary:
The Specialist, Videographer/Multimedia is a temporary part-time position (up to 19 hours/wk) through the end of August that will be responsible for creating engaging and informative videos for student advising and recruitment in the Architectural and Engineering CAD department at Austin Community College.

The Specialist, Videographer/Multimedia will be responsible for creating engaging and informative videos for student advising and recruitment in the Architectural and Engineering CAD department at Austin Community College. This role will require experience in capturing images and videos as well as video editing with software such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Premiere Rush. The successful candidate will also be familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design and video applications such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of video content.
  • Manage the production of video content, including filming and editing.
  • Ensure all videos adhere to accessibility guidelines and are suitable for different platforms, such as social media and the college's website.
  • Create and edit video content for student advising and recruitment.
  • Use industry standard equipment and software to produce high-quality videos.
Qualifications
  • Expertise in video editing software such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Premiere Rush.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design and video applications such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of video optimization for social media and other online platforms.
  • Knowledge of video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
