Product Photographer Jobs

Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Photographer in the Austin, TX area to join their luxury home furnishing company. This role includes daily/weekly product photography of rugs and wall orders in a range of formats including full-scale and detailed shots. In this role, you must work efficiently and be a strong communicator to receive the products from the production/building team, stage and shoot in the photography area, and prepare to move to finishing for packing and shipping in a timely manner.

You Will:

• Communicate regularly with the shipping & receiving, production and marketing departments
• Meta-tagged assets according to specific categorizations and shared them with the team members who might need them
• Work with the Social Media Coordinator to create content that is on brand
• Daily/weekly product photography of rugs and wall orders in a range of formats including full-scale and detailed shots
• Post-photography production includes editing (or communicating with outsourced editors), color correction, and naming
• These digital assets must then be uploaded to the server and organized according to the company's library systems
• Responsible for resizing and uploading to Brandfolder or other digital asset management software
• Assist with styling & photography within the studio
• Videography skills can also be developed and utilized for all projects
• Attend special Projects and install shoots in & around Texas

• Experience with shooting products
• Outsourced Editing
• Mailchimp
• You love process, details & organization—your file naming & storage is your pride
• Understanding of lighting, reflections, materials, textures, and how they affect color
• Passionate for product photography and styling, as well as Interior Designs and Architects
• Shopify
• Salesloft
• Salesforce (shifting to ODOO)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong knowledge in both natural and studio lighting
• Strong visual skills, attention to detail and an eye for consistency and color
• Well-versed/knowledgeable of the following:

• Hours/Week: 30-40 hours per week

• Team Structure: Small team working directly with social media manager, Creative Director, CEO, and other external stakeholders
• Rate: $50-$60 per hour PAY
• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Onsite/offsite: Hybrid, Austin Texas
