Embark is currently seeking a dynamic and versatile videographer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling high-quality video content across multiple platforms, with the goal of attracting new customers, partners, and employees.

While we already produce video content regularly, we are now looking to increase both the quantity and quality of our productions, and we need a talented videographer to help us achieve this goal. This is an incredible opportunity for you to take ownership of our video production efforts and use your creativity and expertise to enhance our overall marketing strategy with numerous ongoing and one-off video projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Edit raw footage, translate objectives into quality deliverables to achieve business goals
  • Demonstrate your own strong decision-making to maintain an on-brand design language and excellent execution of each project
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and collaborate with the social media manager to create compelling content for tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Work with our marketing and design team to storyboard and develop high-quality, creative videos for web, email, social media, and other marketing campaigns
  • Recommend equipment, source/manage freelancers, and assist with setup/teardowns
  • Work with marketing managers and producers to coordinate production schedules
  • Manage administrative responsibilities associated with projects like naming, filing, sharing, etc
  • Develop and streamline video production for use across multiple platforms
  • Contribute to long-term marketing strategy and brand development
  • Maintain in-house equipment (cameras, lights, microphones, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with accounting/finance audience is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in mixing audio, selecting compelling music tracks, and color-correcting raw footage
  • Portfolio demonstrating superior video production and post-production abilities
  • Proficiency in post-production editing and related software such as Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; exposure to key stakeholders and situations
  • Capacity to self-manage, working both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with array of video file types, codecs, frame rates, and relevant use cases for each
  • Understanding of animation fundamentals
  • Proficiency in video production, managing from concept to storyboard through finished product
  • Undergraduate degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Photography, sound recording, design and editing capabilities would be a plus but not required
  • Expertise with DSLR cameras, lights, accessories, audio equipment, and related software
  • Passion for operations and attention to details; ability to optimize and scale quality
