Videographer Jobs

This position will be part of AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Content team—whose primary responsibility is developing and producing Manufacturing Technology content for all AMT products and partner outlets.

The primary job responsibilities are to create digital content to include video stories, segments and series from pre to post-production, as well as work with video teams, internal and external, and coordinate with the Managing Editor and team to determine what videos are needed.

Primary Job Functions

• Develop, create, produce, and edit videos for AMT Products – including, but not limited to:
• Work within the AMT Content team to assist in all aspects of digital content and video production

o AMT Events and Products

o IMTS+ Original Series

o IMTS+ WATCH (IMTS.com/WATCH)

o IMTS – International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS)

o Websites (IMTS.com, AMTonline.org)

o AMT and IMTS YouTube Channels

• Work with AMT staff to fulfill digital content needs and assistance
• Perform other duties, as assigned
• Work with outside video production partners

• The ability to exercise leadership within a work team
• Project management, organizational skills, facilitation and motivation skills, strong interpersonal, analytical, written, oral and communication skills
• Proficiency in post-production editing software, color correction software, audio mastering software, and digital storage/analytics platforms
• Advanced knowledge of lighting, composition, and digital ideation
• Full comprehension of the video production process, from planning of production schedules and travel to delivery
• Solid experience with an understanding of computers and business software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Brightcove, iconik a plus
