Job Description

GoPuff is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Merchandising Account Executive who is passionate about establishing and cultivating relationships with brands and driving sales through our platform. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leveraging their understanding of the consumer goods industry to increase brand partnerships and improve brand positioning within our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in contract negotiations to secure beneficial terms for both GoPuff and the brand partner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to onboard new brands and to provide them with dedicated support throughout their partnership with GoPuff.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of existing and potential brand partners.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics of brand partnerships, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Identify industry trends and evolving market behavior to recommend necessary strategy pivots and new opportunities for brand partnerships.
  • Collaborate with brands to develop strategies for listing and promoting their products on GoPuff’s platform to drive sales.
  • Present GoPuff’s value proposition to potential brand partners, ensuring they understand the benefits of selling through our platform.


Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field. Experience in the consumer goods or e-commerce industries is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proven track record in identifying and onboarding new business partnerships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.


Compensation

  • Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role’s compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role. Salary Range: $57k - $90k
