Marketing Program Specialist Senior - Remote

Our team leads content marketing strategy and content creation for Akamai's cloud computing services. You will build and write compelling narratives and creative pieces for each stage of the customer journey. Your experience collaborating with partners and measuring results will help to contribute to Akamai's overall marketing success.

Partner with the best

In this role, you will strategize, write, execute and measure marketing content. The content you create will drive brand awareness and support demand generation for our cloud computing services.

Your unique blend of strategic thinking and creativity will enable you to be:

• Writing internal and external communications content when needed.
• Integrating content programs with field and web programs, including events, to drive demand
• Communicating all marketing plans, activities/updates and content results to stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Creating launch plans for new content pieces
• Collaborating across functions to lead, create and deliver effective content pieces
• Developing recommendations about which content to promote, when, and where.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have demonstrated a proactive approach to engaging with stakeholders, executing programs, and attaining results.
• Build alignment, trust and productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have 5+ years of relevant marketing experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Have experience writing and editing, and good storytelling capabilities
• Demonstrate project management skills and ability to prioritize and execute efficiently when priorities shift

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $77,487 - $116,021/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
