Job Description
Inside the Role
This position will report to the General Manager, Direct Sales and Marketing and will oversee the development and execution of both internal and external marketing communications plans. In addition, the successful candidate will plan and coordinate the logistics of industry and customer conferences and events to increase product/brand awareness.

Position offers a starting salary range of $74,500.00 - $95,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Act in a support role to the General Manager, Direct Sales and Marketing in executing an integrated marketing strategy and project pipeline including messaging, branding, website development, digital communications, social media, dealer tools, industry and dealer events, print materials, ad development, media outlets, public relations, video, photography and training.
  • Manage special customer sales events, including communication, housing, on-site catering, transportation and follow-up communication after events. Work with senior management to orchestrate events that support the marketing and selling of Thomas Built Buses, products and programs.
  • 25% travel required
  • Assist the General Manager, Direct Sales and Marketing in recommending and formulating the annual budget for all marketing, advertising, sales & service training, technical publications, trade show participation and corporate meetings.
  • Evaluate and select sites, negotiate and arrange contracts with hotels, convention centers and others. Direct and coordinate the activities of those who prepare and provide services for events.
  • Plan and direct Thomas Built Buses participation at industry functions to reinforce the premium image of the company's brand. Incorporate message consistent with brand strategy at meetings and events. Logistics include menu planning, invitation selection, distribution, and entertainment.
  • Frequently communicate execution of the integrated marketing plan and messaging to TBB and dealer personnel to ensure consistent voice throughout the industry and to ensure developed messages and use of dealer tools are maximized.
  • Orchestrate national and regional sales meetings, including site inspection and selection, event production and contract negotiations. Provide additional support to senior managers as requested. Organize attendee registration and resolve any problems during the event. Evaluate events afterward to continually improve future functions.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree (Associates Degree required)
  • Graphic Design and prepress/production expertise REQUIRED with expert skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Quark Xpress, Acrobat Pro REQUIRED.
  • Brand identity and strategic brand development experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates Degree required
  • Significant experience in social media management and execution required.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Experience using analytical thought to independently solve complex problems with minimal guidance and identify solutions
  • Public relations knowledge and strategy
  • In-depth knowledge of, and expertise in the pupil transportation industry
