What challenges can you expect?

Essential Functions

• Organizes the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports. Prepare status reports of marketing efforts
• Plan, design and produce trade shows and events while managing all project delivery elements within time and budgetary limits.
• Collaborate with corporate headquarter marketing departments to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts such as implementing marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include public relations, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness
• Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities
• Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional campaigns and events.

• Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
• Organize facilities and manage all event details such as securing space, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, signage, promotional material, etc.
• Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities.

• Keep track of event finances including check request, invoicing, and reporting
• When required draft, review and create proposal for internal communication document or other media to promote brand and culture.
• Manage all aspects of display equipment used in trade shows and events including inventory, updates, maintenance and shipping/receiving to/from shows and storage facilities
• Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
• When applicable, work with media to coordinate press releases and publicity opportunities.
• Prepare nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, etc.
• Manage all aspects of product literature and procuring promotional items and apparel

• Regulate proper usage of company logo in all aspects: internal/external email communications, printed communications, signage, presentations, templates, etc.
• Assist in analyzing marketing date (campaign results, traffic, perceived interest, etc. to help shape future marketing strategies
• Control and maintain substantial budget for all U.S. marketing activities, including preparing invoice data for applicable international subsidiaries
• Maintain inventory, ensure documentation is current, and fulfill requests from satellite offices for literature, promotional items and customer gifts
• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels including print media, special events (hospitality suites, customer appreciation events, etc.) press releases etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a Regular full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Travel

This position may require a trip overseas or in the US.

What do we expect from you?

Preferred Education

• 5-7 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or
• Business degree and 3-5 years' experience or
