Job Description

PURPOSE

Our firm is seeking an energetic and self-driven team member who will have an immediate positive impact to our market driven firm. This position is based in Houston, TX.

A Marketing Coordinator’s position specializes in conveying our story through the coordination and writings of proposals, marketing packets, and/or presentations. An eye for graphic design, deadline driven, creative writing, and experience in editing technical content is expected.

Additional responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the Houston Team and projecting a professional company image through personal, phone, and email coordination while utilizing sound judgement in recognizing the scope of authority.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with preparation of client/prospective client PowerPoint and Canva presentations
  • Assist with correspondence preparation - letters, transmittals, marketing materials for client meetings
  • Answer and direct phone calls as needed; greet clients/visitors and direct to appropriate staff
  • Assist with coordination of photographers for project imagery
  • Other directives as requested by the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Proposal Specialist, Owners, and other Leadership Team Members.
  • Travel for delivery of proposals may be required, and MUST be delivered prior to the deadline
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and necessary materials for preparation of meetings
  • Assist with preparation of Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) and proposals
  • Assist with project content for monthly internal newsletter and quarterly external newsletter
  • Travel to other DDG offices may be required periodically
  • Assist with maintaining electronic filing system organization for clients’ projects and marketing materials
  • Attend external events (as needed) – golf tournament (cooking tents), conference booths, etc.
  • Ensure DDG’s brand and messaging is being used consistently within all correspondence.
  • Communicate Houston specific social media content to Headquarters
  • Assist with the design and preparation of marketing materials and packets
  • Promote DDG’s core values, both internally and externally, and comply with the DDG Company Manual.
  • Communicate Houston specific website content to Headquarters

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong content editing capabilities
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a comprehensive manner
  • 0-3 Years of Relevant Workforce Experience
  • Strong graphic design capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or other Related Field
  • Experience with InDesign, Canva, and other Adobe Suite Packages
