Our Newest Opportunity:
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Director is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that drive the Insurance Practice’s growth and client experience across the organization. This individual will work directly with the marketing, client services, sales, product and field operations teams to support various initiatives designed to drive growth and support retention across the business related to our Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty, and Medicare Insurance offerings. The Marketing Director will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify business objectives and plan, implement, execute, and manage marketing strategies to drive business growth. This role will collaborate with our Product and Digital Transformation teams in support of tech-forward, digital first strategies that drive innovation in the industry. The Director will be responsible for working in a multi-functional capacity to support the goals of the Insurance Practice leadership team and its affiliate consultants across the regions as well as coaching the Marketing team at large on Insurance Practice driven strategies.
The OneDigital marketing team believes in high performance, collaboration, authentic communication, open feedback, and excellence. You’ll have opportunities to manage & participate in a wide variety of marketing initiatives— including building the division brand, managing divisional campaigns, developing content, planning and executing industry events, collaborating on sales enablement, client experience, product marketing, and more.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Insurance Practice
  • Directs day-to-day administrative responsibilities including but not limited to matters related to staff recruitment, annual budgeting, and vendor management.
  • Develop the voice of the practice and ensure it is articulated clearly in division-facing marketing messages and brand story.
  • Partners with Product, IT and Digital Transformation Leads with product marketing strategy in support of Insurance Practice innovation
  • Collaborates with Mergers & Acquisitions Team on marketing and sales support pre-sale, post close integration and brand transition.
  • Collaborates with the national marketing team with the development, management, and execution of OneDigital’s Insurance Practice’s marketing initiatives.
  • Develops, directs and implements divisional marketing plans—including growth campaign strategies, brand awareness initiatives, sales enablement, webinars, social, PR, client campaigns, etc.
  • Leads strategy in support of Insurance Practice organic growth through new sales and growing existing client relationships across the business.
  • Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. Communicates broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborates with executive stakeholders to determine the market development strategy, industry and territory level sales priorities and area of focus within distribution channels.
  • Works with appropriate solution leaders to tailor offerings to the unique needs of the industry. Drives and implements strategy to enhance the client experience.
General Marketing
  • Understands and leverages the Voice of the Customer intelligence to drive retention and Customer Experience strategy across Practice
  • Serve as key liaison for day-to-day marketing activities within Insurance Practice, ensuring that information is shared across the organization.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the learning and development and internal communications teams to develop, produce, update and organize sales and consultant collateral, educational and communications materials, and other items as needed to promote OneDigital’s I core services and solutions related to the practice.
  • Represent the marketing team in a varied array of opportunities, including but not limited to meeting with acquisition prospects, participating in annual conferences and new hire training, presenting materials in company webinars or podcasts, etc.
Management
  • Evaluates current knowledge level of team, designs and implements educational resources for the team and others in the Department.
  • Responsible for performance evaluations of team members
  • Monitoring of individual team members performance and provide ongoing feedback to ensures that the team meets and exceeds all performance standards
  • Provides ongoing leadership to team members including regularly scheduled 1-1 meetings
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, PR or related field
  • Experience working with much of the following: social, (Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, FB, etc.) digital, (Eloqua, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce MC, WordPress, UberFlip, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics), design (InDesign, Illustrator, Prezi, PowerPoint), as well as one or more organizational platforms (Planner, Trello, Wrike, OneNote, Slack, Evernote) and Microsoft Office.
  • 8 or more years of experience in B2B marketing, Insurance or related field preferred
  • Recent management experience (minimum of five years) or a proven capability to manage entry- level marketing team members;
