Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Manufacturing Engineers (Process Owners) in daily support of machine shop, not limited to:
  • Disposition of non-conforming materials (NCM)
  • Creation of Bill of Material (BOM) and standard routings
  • Root cause analysis and corrective actions for NCMs
Learn and develop NX CAD/CAM skills:
  • Create NC toolpaths
  • Create process sketches with NX Drafting
  • Create solid part, fixture, and tool models
Participate and/or lead continuous improvement projects to deliver on business metrics.
Participate in capital equipment justification, selection, and implementation projects.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Superior time management skills; ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
Interest in developing CAD/CAM skills for machining and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or other technical discipline required.
Suitable experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
Minimum 0-3 years of experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Exposure to CAD/CAM software.

Compensation Details
Annual Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00
