Senior Manufacturing Engineer Jobs

Summary:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for qualifying and adding new equipment and establishing processes for new product line(s).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with vendors, R&D, and Product Development teams to develop timelines for new equipment and characterize process requirements
• Work cross functionally with partners to ensure goals are met
• Assist and/or lead developing requirements and build outs of new processes and equipment
• Involved in equipment design and equipment process design, and will help take equipment from requirements to functioning machinery
• Will work with manufacturing equipment specifications, design, development, implementation, and modification
• Involved with process capability analysis, specification limit selection, downtime reduction, TMV dry runs, GR&R, and more
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment
• Perform root cause analysis and calibration of existing equipment, while also doing statistical analysis DOE
• Create and maintain technical documents meeting FDA guidelines - validation reports, SOPs, training activities, and more

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to provide solutions to technical challenges
• Previous Equipment Design or Equipment Process Design experience
• 6 or more years of manufacturing experience, with 2 or more years in a Manufacturing and/or Process Engineering role or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Experience in at least 1 of the following is highly preferred: heat staking, ultrasonic welding, laser welding, press assembly, adhesives or leak testing
