Job Description

We are working with a tier 1 client looking to find a Manufacturing Engineer, for a direct-hire role, to oversee and improve manufacturing processes. An efficient manufacturing engineer able to identify areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new processes as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
  • Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
  • Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
  • Designing and developing manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.
  • Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of technical expertise.
  • Strong organization and management skills.
  • Experience in Automotive Manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using CAD, MRP/ERP
  • Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
  • Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
