Job Description
Job Overview
As Manager of Commercial Demand in Planning & Performance Management, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the analytics, forecasts, reporting structures, and performance routines surrounding the commercial view of current and future demand for our Juice, Sauce, and Mixers business. A member of our Revenue Growth Management/Commercial Organization for the Warehouse Direct Cold business, you will work cross-functionally and provide critical viewpoints to our Supply, Finance, Marketing, and Sales organizations to develop and ensure that we are prepared to fulfill the product needs for our business. To succeed in this role, you will need a drive for process improvements, a desire for continuous learning in a variety of systems and analytical tools/methods, be highly organized, and to be comfortable providing opinions and recommendations and taking the lead on projects.
What you will do:
  • Manage New Item forecasting/tracking from early planning to post-launch; Build and align on early headquarter shipment forecasts, manage processes for sales team forecasting, track in-market execution and sales, effectively communicate product performance to cross-functional partners and leadership
  • Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders in all departments, including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Research & Development, Supply Chain, etc.
  • Develop other integrated analytics, forecasts, reports and presentations necessary to support the business needs
  • Lead on customer and product allocations/prioritizations if/when supply is constrained on any given item/ppg
  • Build and manage long-term top-line demand forecasts on core items/ppgs from a Commercial lens, liaising back with our demand and supply planning organization on forecast alignment
  • Aid in the determination/recommendation of items to discontinue
Requirements
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
  • Prior experience with syndicated datasets (IRI, Nielsen) a plus
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Powerpoint skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant analytical experience, CPG experience preferred
  • High level of proactivity, intellectual curiosity, and drive for continuous improvement a must
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written & presentation and follow-through
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and able to handle a high work volume
  • Interest and willingness to learn and work within a variety of internal business systems (ex. SAP) and syndicated datasets (ex. IRI, 1010data)
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
