This is a remote role but candidates must reside in Baltimore, MD, or Boston, MA.
Pay Range: $80/hr - $90/hr
We’re seeking an experienced influencer marketing manager to join our product marketing team. In this role, you’ll develop an insight-fueled strategy to tap the power of influencers and ambassadors to shift how EMEA consumers think about, adopt and engage with VR. You’ll lead thoughtful planning and flawless execution of influencer programs, driving measurable impact to our business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies for the EMEA region aligned with our VR marketing and business objectives; drive buy-in and alignment with cross-functional teams.
- In partnership with legal teams, drive compliance with the company's high bar standards and regional regulatory requirements that govern influencer and partner marketing
- Insert products into local culture, build out tailored influencer marketing strategies and programs, and explore new tactics and platforms to reach our audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in integrated marketing, media, and comms to integrate influencer programs with broader marketing communication plans and activity in the region.
- Establish and grow influencer capabilities in new local markets by leading the search for and management of influencer agency partners in the region
- Create insightful briefs drawing on different sources of insight and knowledge to guide and focus influencer campaigns and content against primary channel goals, KPIs, and marketing strategy.
- Partner with Decision and Data Science teams to track and analyze influencer marketing program performance, delivering data-driven results, insights, and opportunities for optimization
- Manage influencer program budgets, ensuring effective allocation and return on investment within the channel
- Monitor and harness industry trends, staying up to date on emerging platforms, shifts in the creator and influencer landscape, competitive activity, and channel best practices
Top 4 Requirements:
- Experience working with influencer agencies
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a complex global org. Comfort with ambiguity, ability to form relationships, and influence vs. relying on processes.
- BA required
- Proven experience running successful Influencer marketing campaigns that deliver brand and business results
Bonus Qualifications:
- Work in consumer-facing brands either at the brand or at an agency (not necessarily big tech, happy with a candidate who has worked for consumer brands, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle). NOT B2B (e.g. they have to have marketed a product to people before)
- Marketing measurement experience
- Familiarity with the EMEA market & culture (priority UK)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, ability to set channel goals, track and manage program performance, and drive optimization
- Experience leading agency partners at either a regional or global level
- Proven experience delivering measurable business outcomes with influencer marketing strategies and tactics
- 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing, 6+ years experience in influencer marketing
- Track record of creativity and innovation in the influencer marketing space; fluent in social and creator culture, influencer marketing trends, social platform innovation, and best practice
- Thrives in a fast-moving culture, manages multiple priorities, and adapts to change quickly
- Experience in client/brand-side marketing environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, successfully driving clarity from ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Conversational fluency in 2+ non-English European languages
- Marketing consultancy/agency experience
- Industry experience in consumer tech and/or gaming verticals
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $80/hr - $90/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
