ROLE SUMMARY:
As the brands in our portfolio prepare to launch, we are looking to bring on a Social Influencer Marketing Intern. The Social Influencer Marketing Intern, will enhance our brands’ presence and reputation by identifying, engaging, and fostering relationships with key influencers across various platforms. This intern works closely with brand co-founders as well as the marketing team by researching emerging influencers, analyzing their audience demographics and engagement metrics, and coordinating outreach campaigns to establish partnerships. Their responsibilities include crafting compelling pitches, tracking and reporting communications, and evaluating the success of influencer collaborations. Throughout their tenure, the intern will gain a deep understanding of influencer marketing dynamics, trends, and best practices, sharpening their skills in relationship-building and strategic digital communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Influencer Identification: Research and create a list of potential influencers aligned with the brand's ethos and target audience, along with our Marketing Manager and Principals
- Maintain an organized database of influencer contacts, collaboration history and performance metrics.
Engagement Metrics Analysis: Assess the relevance of influencers based on their engagement rates, audience demographics, content style, and authenticity
- Organize influencer insights and data
- Assist in creation of weekly reports
Outreach Coordination: Initiate and manage communication with potential influencers for collaboration opportunities
Pitch Development: Craft compelling pitches tailored to each influencer, highlighting mutual benefits
Campaign Assistance: Support in the execution of influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met
- Facilitate execution of planned influencer marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze the success and ROI of influencer collaborations, using predetermined KPIs
- Gather and act on feedback from influencers to refine outreach strategies and campaign execution
- Oversee and approve influencer-generated content for brand alignment and quality
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with emerging influencer trends, platforms, and best practices in the industry
Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring the budget for influencer campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
- Assist in negotiating terms of collaboration, ensuring clear deliverables and fair compensation

Compensation and Timing:
- 3-6 month internship
- 20-hours weekly (paid hourly)

Qualifications / Skills:
- Proficient in Canva
- Undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate student with keen interest in marketing and social media
- Strong understanding of TikTok's platform, algorithm, and trends
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and post-production techniques
- Adept at adapting content to different target demographics and audiences
- Experience with influencer outreach and collaboration preferred
- Proficient in Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Passion for health and wellness
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to convey brand messaging creatively
- Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with consumer products and the ability to present them in an appealing manner
- Proven track record of creating engaging and viral content on TikTok and other social media
- Majoring in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, Creative Writing, or related field
- Proficient in Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Experience in collaborating with influencers and content creators
