About the role:

This position is responsible for supporting the work of the influencer marketing department with on-time delivery of accurate, effective brand and product materials.


The Influencer Marketing Strategist is responsible for supporting Influencer production for client roster. This position is responsible for influencer strategy development, campaign execution and securing coverage. This person also supports creative campaign ideation and compelling communication in an effort to build, maintain and grow a client’s reputation, credibility and brand awareness.


Responsibilities

  • Mastering Reporting and Storytelling
  • Monthly reporting, strategy sessions with the client, owning overall communication for all channel initiatives with no support needed
  • Reviews content and writes/edits copy with a keen eye for detail throughout the campaign process
  • Responsible for ideation, development, and management of channel initiatives (can execute on 80% of dept deliverables)
  • Closes the loop on assignments and notify team members when action items are complete
  • Training and managing interns and part time staff
  • Experience with negotiating on behalf of a client/brand to ensure highest level of execution and deliverables are secured
  • Responds to all client inquiries in a timely manner (email, Slack, etc.)
  • Has experience with influencer tools/platforms ie: Tagger, GRIN, Aspire, Tribe, Fohr Card, etc.
  • Hit PPE & RPE success metric
  • Executes Influencer outreach and regularly slated organic and paid influencers for formal partnerships
  • Maintains positive client relationships which contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company
  • Maintains accurate Hourstack and Asana on a daily basis
  • Responsible for the ideation, management and completion of influencer programming A-Z, ensuring activations are aligned with client goals and messaging
  • Contributes regularly to creative brainstorms
  • Able to complete delegated tasks with little supervision, offer help on other tasks when time allows
  • Leads by example in staying on top of industry and influencer news, trends and platform changes
  • Possesses strong foundation of influencer relationships and a firm understanding of all possible activation verticals and categories as well as social channels. This understanding includes, but is not limited to, ambassador programming (with affiliate inclusion), paid social (whitelisting/dark ads/ad creative), podcast advertising and high-volume seeding.
  • Experience with structuring and editing social partnership contracts that includes usage, contract terms, finite deliverables, exclusivity clauses, timelines and payment terms
  • Collaborate cross channel with account team
  • Take on ownership of key accounts and overall strategy


Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong understanding of social platform analytics, marketing analytics & ROI.
  • Self-Starter, possesses ability to act and operate efficiently and independently to accomplish objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and experience with Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience in the Influencer Marketing space (not inclusive of internships)
  • Understanding of both the paid and organic influencer marketing spaces and how they relate to the digital marketing funnel
  • Knowledge of multiple categories and verticals of consumer products such as CPG, beauty, health/wellness, fitness, fashion, lifestyle and beyond.
  • Experience with a range of Influencer Content Management Systems, and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong familiarity with social media (including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter) and online content, and evidence of a developed social media/web presence.
  • Familiarity with FTC guidelines and Agreement negotiations
  • Strong time management skills with core understanding of, or openness to, workflow among a portfolio of clients and campaigns.
