MEDIA MANAGER

US CONSUMER BEAUTY – NEW YORK CITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Manager to join us in building a best-in-class media organization for the US Consumer Beauty division. The role will include assisting with full-funnel planning and strategic work seeing campaign execution from start to finish. The Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing campaigns from briefing to launch, including campaign execution, reporting and identifying learnings & insights. The role will also act as the media guardian to make business recommendations relevant to the overall growth and KPI’s of the brands. Strong knowledge of understanding budgets.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with Assistant Manager in developing Bi-weekly Competitive Paid Social Insights report for distribution to Marketing & Leadership team
• Be a thought leader in the media and marketing space and up to date on latest channels, platforms, buying methods and ad units
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eComm, Influencer, Global Media) in order to work holistically to achieve brand results
• Lead managing media workflow to ensure deliverables and deadlines are communicated & adhered to with internal and external partners including Brand Marketing, Global Marketing, eComm, Media agency and Media Partners.
• Work with Brand teams on briefs, budgets and reports
• Liaise with agency on planning, execution, strategy and reporting for campaigns and partnership opportunities
• Attend weekly media agency status
• Work with vendors on strategic partnerships, roadmaps and agendas for monthly calls
• Work in close partnership with Global Media & Marketing teams
• Act as a media knowledge expert resource for brand marketing teams
• Work with media agency in developing media plans that reach brand goals
• Contribute to media roadmap for COTY and the launch of full-funnel planning

Qualifications

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Knowledge in all areas of media (media strategy, planning and buying - TV, digital, budgets, costs, media math)
• Very strong project management skills
• A bachelor's degree is required
• Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
• Focus on results and tenacity to get things done on time and on budget despite internal and external obstacles
• 5+ years relevant work experience in media across all platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube and custom content programs. Influencer knowledge a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical skills
• Keen creative eye
• Knowledge of US Consumer Beauty environment (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations)
• Detail oriented and executional excellence

Base Salary Range: $ (95,000-110,000)
