Job Description
Position Overview
Data is a crucial part of the Global Digital mission to be the essential digital front door for every shipper and recipient on the planet. In order to deliver personalized experiences, end to end journey-centric insights and enable our customer to make smarter decisions, the Global Digital Intelligence team must ensure data quality, accuracy and compliance, drive analytics standards and best practices and leverage advanced analytics to measure, analyze and communicate digital product performance and customer behaviors.

  • Provides expert guidance and leadership to mature advanced analytics and data science capabilities through the use of ML/AI, predictive modeling, quantitative analytics and advanced statistics
  • Provides leadership and support in maintaining and optimizing the digital data pipeline in support of cloud migrations, Azure environment setup, GDL implementation, server administration, and Data Mart maintenance, while employing the right toolsets to aggregate and mine larges sets of data and visualize performance
  • Designs, develops and analyzes performance metrics across the global digital portfolio, develops and implements frameworks for journey analytics and provides the necessary reports, insights and recommendations to support digital product strategies and drive business goals
  • Creates a highly innovative culture and data driven mindset by emphasizing continuous learning & growth and encouraging team to explore new technologies and ways of working
  • May be responsible for a market segment including development, marketing research and analyses, pricing and advertising.
  • Develops strong data governance and data environments in partnership with key business stakeholders to effectively manage data standards and policies for collecting, storing and using data and enable improved data quality and availability
  • Establishes a data competency center in partnership with key business stakeholders to enable consistency and structure in how we measure, interpret and report insights, OKR's and KPI's
  • Establishes and drives analytical standards and best practices for web analytics; partners closely with web developers, data engineers, and IT to ensure seamless tracking implementation, data collection, and multichannel data integration
  • Develops and manages a well-defined and comprehensive digital analytics strategy
  • Determines the demand for products and services offered by the organization by managing marketing programs and research and analyses.
  • Develops best-in-class Global Digital Intelligence teams by hiring, coaching/mentoring, training, retaining, and grooming the right talent
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus
  • Strategic mindset and collaborative disposition
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects with a team, often working under tight time constraints to deliver value
  • Technical background in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, or other quantitative and computational fields
  • Compelling track record of Digital Data Intelligence expertise utilizing industry-leading analytics approaches (e.g., digital analytics, database analytics, data visualization and tools) to transform data into meaningful insights
  • Demonstrated experience in working with some of the following: Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Adobe Analytics, MS Azure, PowerBI, DataIku and ML frameworks

  • The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
  • Collierville, TN (Suburb of Memphis)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Directly related experience may offset degree requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline.
  • Five (5) years directly related experience in planning and analyses.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
  • Strong basic management, human relations, communication and analytical skills.
Additional InformationSalary Range Estimate: Annual Salary: $9,105.30 - $16,213.75. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
