Job Description
The Associate, Marketing Analytics supports real estate leaders and team members within the Greystar US Property Management by leveraging multiple sources of internal and external marketing data to analyze, create, and present reports, narratives, trend analyses, and other documents that enable effective decision-making around asset performance. The position engages with key stakeholders to review and explain key data findings, and offers ideas, suggestions, and recommendations for applying the data to improve or optimize on the results of marketing strategies, programs, and other initiatives. The position assists in developing, scaling, and implementing various marketing analytics initiatives that elevate the business intelligence and data analytics capabilities of the business.

  • Participate and/or lead Marketing Analytics projects, initiatives, and efforts required for improved measurement. Improve and enhance the products, services, and support the team provides to the business, and represent the department on other cross-functional efforts to evolve and improve the Company’s data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Maintain productive and supportive relationships with key stakeholders, respond with urgency to requests for reports, data analysis, and other assistance, and participate in and lead discussions to present and review the findings and information contained in reports to key stakeholders.
  • Create, design, and develop compelling reports, data visualizations, narratives, dashboards, and other documents and provide robust reporting packages to marketing leaders and other stakeholders to enable and support effective marketing planning and decision-making.
  • Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and addressing potential issues with databases, platforms, and reports. Support the Marketing Analytics team by recommending and introducing new tools, processes, systems, and other methods to automate reporting, streamline efficiencies, and ensure data quality.
  • Leverage the Company’s data analytics platforms, database systems, and other sources of internal and external marketing data to perform detailed analysis and identify trends, issues, and other insights that can inform and drive marketing-related decisions, strategies, and tactics.
Organizational Responsibilities
  • Practice proper safety techniques, follow the Company’s risk and safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any team member or visitor injuries, accidents, or other safety-related issues to the appropriate individual(s).
  • Build, establish, and access a network of experts and professionals inside and outside of the industry and attend or participate in conferences, professional associations, and other events that contribute to professional growth.
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of concepts, practices, and advancements in the areas of marketing, business intelligence, and performance analytics and stay abreast of emerging trends, systems, platforms, and other developments that may influence the performance analytics area.
  • Identify and offer suggestions for ways to improve the area and department’s efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and overall contributions to the Company.
  • Follow and comply with the Company’s established operating, systems, financial, and human resources policies and procedures, and meet Company and departmental standards and requirements that specifically pertain to the department and business area.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
  • Good project management skills and experience in leading complex projects and initiatives that may include working with diverse teams from different discipline areas. Ability to plan, organize, manage, and direct a project team, track and monitor progress, and meet established deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to work through large quantities of data to identify and interpret findings, trends, and results. Skilled in creating detailed but compelling and easy-to-understand reports, narratives, graphic illustrations, dashboards, and other documents that explain complex data in a digestible and actionable fashion.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms, with a grounded understanding of key concepts and practices around digital and web-based marketing techniques and practices.
  • Two to four years’ experience with reading and using various analytical and reporting tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Alteryx, and BigQuery.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience in marketing, business intelligence and data analytics, database management, or related field.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to use Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS, and ability to make effective presentations to diverse audiences.
The salary range for this position is $65,500 - $85,000
The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for employment at the time of posting. Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
