The Manager, Digital Marketing - SEO will be responsible for scaling our organic traffic to the next level; overseeing strategy, and working collaboratively with other teams to manage all aspects of Alchemee (previously The Proactiv Company) organic search channels.

The ideal candidate is an active listener with strong interpersonal communication skills as well as a natural collaborator who can ask and give feedback to both business owners, and internal and external stakeholders. This person has a passion for bringing best practices into the business while actively sharing business perspectives, knowledge and lessons learned to contribute and support a best-in-class global standard.

Essential Functions

• Forecast performance and budget appropriately to deliver reliable results.
• Develop, execute and manage Proactiv’s organic search channels.
• Maintain regular communication regarding KPIs and relevant learnings with leadership team and senior marketing colleagues.
• Spearhead growth initiatives and campaigns to help us achieve breakout success
• Set and define goals, track KPIs, and share reports with various stakeholders
• Work closely with internal and external partners to prepare for each Google Algorithm update to optimize the website
• Partner with digital paid search team to understand Google, Bing & algorithm changes to make improvements and SEO optimization.
• Promote a positive environment to lead an effective team that is committed to achieving company goals
• Other duties as assigned
• Leverage analytics, analytics tools and key insights to optimize while driving near and long-term strategies
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement (CTR, reduce bounce rate, website load pages, etc), then implement changes and measure results.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Consistently demonstrates the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct
• Strong analytical skills, intuitive grasp of data
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting for marketing campaigns
• BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related field, required
• Knowledge of common SEO tools : Mox, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRuch, Majestic
• Can speak about Google’s past algorithm updates and EAT guidelines
• Takes direction well; can work independently in most situations
• Outstanding communication skills – both written and spoken
• 5-8 years of SEO Experience, both on-page and off-pate
• High level of detail with strong attention to follow-through, and the ability to prioritize and execute many tasks while meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to identify key market trends and translate data into ideas
• Proven track record of creating and implementing campaigns that drive traffic
• Creative thinker with the ability and passion for understanding the customers’ needs and delivering them
• Reliable, dependable, works with a sense of urgency
• Proficiency in MS Office – including Excel and PowerPoint
