The Department: The Market Intelligence Team (MI) with the CDMO Consumer Function provides information that facilitates decision-making on both strategic as well as tactical day-to-day business issues. MI uses a wide variety of research techniques and tools
Job Summary: L’Oreal is looking for a creative, analytically driven, and collaborative team member to better leverage market, consumer panel, and digital insights tools to support the Market Intelligence Team, Market Measurement function. This role will lead development of thoughtful, actionable analyses that impact Go-To-Market Strategies. He/she/they will have the vision, structured thinking and business savvy to help syndicated data be utilized as a competitive advantage for the organization.
What You Will Do

• Takes initiative, anticipates team needs/issues and works proactively to address them
• Ability to leverage and integrate data from multiple data sources to develop insights and strategies which impact business and/or anticipate changes in the marketplace.
• Lead measurement initiatives including reporting & forecasting for the Prestige Beauty market:
• Professional and Behavioral Requirements:
• Experience leveraging presentation communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex information for broader and verbal/written audience\
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently, as well as work effectively with others with kindness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, tolerance for business ambiguity; the ability to thrive under quickly changing situations; adaptable, with ability to meet short turnaround times
• Strong time management skills. The ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Understanding & passion for Beauty industry across core classes of trade; Mass, Prestige & Professional and key categories; Makeup, Skin, Hair and Fragrance
• Ability to manage complexity of measurement for divisions with multiple selling models including but not limited to traditional retail, first + third party ecommerce, owned eboutiques and free standing stores.
• Ability to identify use cases, applications and visualization of multiple data sets
• Strong professional communication skills required as this position will require regular interaction with divisional senior leadership across divisions.
• Will work closely with multiple vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and personal skills to being out the best in our partners.
• Develop and conduct analyses and make actionable recommendations for organization.

What We Are Looking For:\

• Ability to design, execute and deliver analyses, which leverage multiple data sets
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Data expertise, Circana (Previously NPD) point of sale/RMS data and consumer panel data
• Prior exposure to Kline, Euromonitor, E-commerce, and Social Media is preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in syndicated research
