Job Title: Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Client Location: New York, NY
Salary/Pay Rate: $21.92 to $33.24 Hourly (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Duration: 7 Months

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator provides dedicated support to the Global Sales organization and the Vice President, Sales, Marketing, Revenue & Distribution, in addition to executing administrative tasks on behalf of our client as instructed.
Core Work Activities:
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
- Prepares sales and marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Maintains open communication with Team members, properties, GSO’s, as needed, regarding lead status.
- Plans sales calls, meetings, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
- Completes other projects, reports, and program coordination as assigned. Assist with additional office coverage whenever necessary.
- Processes all leads in a timely manner. Monitor, update, and communicate lead status to appropriate parties.
- Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date lead response information in information systems to ensure accurate reporting.
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information, and relaying customer service requests.
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
- Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintains research databases.
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Arranges or performs administrative functions on behalf of the Directors of Sales for the Sales organization and the VP of Sales, Marketing, Revenue & Distribution, such as processing expenses, copying, filing, distribution of materials, and any other duties as assigned
- Performs inventory search of hotel availability based on customer request. Negotiate and leverage customers’ needs, acting as a liaison between the account leader, properties, and Regional Sales Offices (RSOs).
Demonstrating and Applying Discipline/Functional Knowledge
- Act decisively to recover from mistakes. Know how to develop/propose/initiate solutions and when to involve a leader.
- Act independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
- Use standard software applications such as MS Office, MRDW, SalesForce etc.
Contributing to Teams
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders in other parts of the organization.
- Navigate the organization to achieve collaboration by leveraging relationships and knowledge.
- Work effectively in a virtual team-based environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Approx. 10% Travel – US and International

- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent AND
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Sales and Marketing, Guest Services, Front Desk or related professional area
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel, and Restaurant Management
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $21.92 to $33.24 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
