Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Sr. Learning Experience Specialist - Engineering Ops.

Job Title: Sr. Learning Experience Specialist

Duration: 12 months

Location: Remote

REQUIREMENTS:

• Identify when resources/materials are not in place to support course work and coordinate or produce these resources/materials with the wider Engineering team
• Maintain all relevant coursework and materials within the client LMS
• Constantly strive to improve instruction through self-analysis
• Coordinate with client's technical instructors and support teams to ensure a positive and exciting experience for attendees in all tracks
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across Engineering to develop courses and integrate them into new or existing curriculums
• Perform ongoing needs assessments with Engineering stakeholders
• Meet with new hires to establish rapport and collect insights into friction areas of Knowledge Management leading to opportunities for improvement
• Deliver training using approved materials and in partnership with SMEs
• Helps evaluate new tools, vendors, and techniques
• Deliver excellent presentations both business and technical focused
• Execute instructional design of self-led and instructor-led courses and coordinate/own the delivery of education for Client technical employees

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in instructional/curriculum design, e-learning development, and learning experience design, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting
• Must have good judgment skills demonstrating strong work ethic and dependability
• Strong intellectual curiosity
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field. If the degree is in a non-technical field such as Journalism, English, or Communications, they must have technical and scientific knowledge and training
• Familiarity with adult learning theories
• Ability to learn technical information quickly
• Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Able to explain complex topics to a range of learner levels - novice to advanced
• Experience using multiple learning methods with the ability to apply them appropriately
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on training delivery
• Experience designing and developing ILT/eLearning materials
• Knowledge of programming languages preferred - Scala, Java, Node. JS or similar
• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Possess the knowledge or skills needed to set up training environments
