Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of end-to-end project plans for leadership meetings and colleague town halls, including pre- and post-event communications as appropriate.
- Support the broader Colleague Communications team in the practice of data management and measurement to enhance the effectiveness of colleague communications.
- Plan and execute submissions and recognition of Technology colleagues in support of the company’s premier award programs.
- Write and edit the CIO’s communications to colleagues, including announcements, video scripts, remarks, and other strategic communications as needed.
- Determine metrics and manage reporting for town halls, leadership forums, colleague roundtables, and other events.
- Provide project management and content/editorial support for the global Technology Leadership Summit, the organization’s senior leadership meeting for 200 Vice Presidents and above.
- Support communications for and management of CIO forums with colleagues, including roundtables, Q&A sessions, and other engagement events.
- Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in managing colleague communications programs; experience working within an information technology organization or other technical environment is preferred.
- Strong project management experience and relentless attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while pushing a variety of projects through to completion.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
- Experience in producing creative events for a large global organization using a variety of multimedia formats.
- Exceptional writer who is able to communicate clearly and effectively across a variety of formats, tones, and audiences, including interpreting technical information into language that is understandable by and compelling to target audiences.
- Strong knowledge of colleague communications delivery platforms and measurement tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Self- starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective leadership with excellent judgment and people management skills.
- Expert in the use of MS Office products, especially Word and PowerPoint, and able to develop graphics and visual design in support of executive presentations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and driving internal and senior executive communications.
