Lab Supply Manager Remote

• Align with stakeholders on business requirements and objectives to promote adoption of best-in-class lab supply strategies and industry trends.
• Support lab supply training and stakeholder communications; demonstrate end-to-end procurement process expertise.
• Measure metrics, conduct spend analytics, requisition/purchase order reports, contract repositories, etc. to identify cost savings, supplier consolidation opportunities,
• Communicates on a daily basis with business stakeholders, suppliers, and other corporate enabling functions (e.g., legal, risk and compliance, etc.) to enable a seamless and efficient lab supply procurement process.
• Partner with Category Strategy Global Leads by contributing to annual category strategy development, opportunity planning and executive stakeholder communications.
• Prepare competitive bid packages or support lab supply competitive bidding activities, including supplier due diligence, price negotiations and supplier onboarding, across multiple markets and sites.
• Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with business stakeholders, suppliers, and other supporting corporate enabling functions (e.g., legal, risk and compliance, etc.).
• Evaluate supplier bids/quotes to ensure alignment with cost targets, quality standard and service expectations.
• Support spend management strategies including supplier assessments and rationalization, security of supply, diversity, and continuous improvement.

• Significant experience using SAP Spend Management Suite (Ariba, Spend, Contracts, etc.).
• Certified Purchasing Manager or equivalent credentials desirable.
• Proficient in analytics, negotiations, time-management and communications.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a technical major or business concentration (pharm experience preferred) .
• Regional work experience working across multiple category teams, site procurement and P2P shared services
• 3+ years of tail spend management (and/or sourcing procurement) in an operational role.

• Knowledgeable of procurement policies, systems and processes to consolidate supply base and reduce costs.
• Able to identify issues, evaluate potential solutions, provide recommendations and implement changes.
• Builds and sustains positive relationships; handles conflicts and negotiations effectively.
• Strong data analytics skills, detailed oriented, and able to draw insights from data.
• Collaborates and works well with others, with influencing and persuasion skills.
