Job Description
About the role.
We are seeking a Virtual Risk Manager with a passion for service. The Risk Management Team provides a key service to the membership through the PURE360 process - a home assessment that provides actionable solutions to help reduce the risk of claims, ensures coverage is adequate, and documents the unique characteristics of each home. Successful Risk Managers are empathetic, curious, and capable of quickly establishing credibility. The Virtual Risk Manager is a key member of the Risk Management team, reporting to the Zonal Field Leader. The position will be based remotely from home, with assessments conducted virtually.

What you’ll do.
  • Efficiently conduct a determined number of monthly PURE360 consultations using public data and member input
  • Complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential risk concerns and recommend loss prevention measures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of claims trends and construction costs.
  • Assist members in fulfilling loss prevention recommendations.
  • Create an exceptional member experience by building a lasting relationship with the member based on trust and empathy.
  • Identify and communicate underwriting concerns.
  • Estimate the replacement cost of a home.

What we’re looking for.
  • Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Attention to detail, analytical and solid problem-solving skills.
  • Solid relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and establish trust and credibility through virtual communication.
  • Proficient in web applications and internet research as well as MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • 2 – 5 years experience in loss control, construction, home inspection, residential or commercial appraising, insurance, or a related position preferred.
