Job Description
Employer is seeking a candidate for the role of Technical and Self-Service Documentation Specialist. Job Responsibilities


  • Independently complete content refresh process for assigned documents
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Product Owners (PO) for progress and approvals of revisions
  • Reformat documentation to meet template requirements when necessary
  • Attend training sessions to stay up to date on Knowledge Base Refresh processes and requirements
  • Proactively seek improvements to existing processes and tasks


Requirements


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to document daily activities and system functions
  • Maintain high-speed internet access with a wired connection
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills
  • Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
  • Provide a suitable workspace
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization


Minimum Qualifications


  • ITIL certification and ServiceNow certificate preferred
  • Background in Knowledge Center Service (KCS) preferred
  • Associate degree in Technical Communications, English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field OR 2 years of experience in developing online documentation, online training, or web content
