Kitchen Manager Jobs

We are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our team at our Pasadena bakery & café location. As a startup, we are looking for someone who is passionate about creating high-quality baked goods, managing kitchen operations, and growing with us.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage and schedule kitchen staff, including hiring new team members
• Continuously improve kitchen operations and workflow to increase efficiency and productivity
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold health and safety standards
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including baking, food preparation, and cleanliness
• Create and maintain recipes and menus that align with the bakery's brand and customer preferences
• Develop and manage kitchen budget, inventory, and ordering

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a bakery or cafe environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
