The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-140,000 in New York.

Why we are recruiting
As a membership organization, the Forum, through the Business Engagement division, engages businesses – online and offline – to address industry, regional and systemic issues. Within the Business Engagement function, the key role of the Partner Engagement Team is to orchestrate engagement of Forum’s Partners, who are the world’s most relevant and impactful business organizations, into and across the Forum’s value streams (e.g., events, initiatives, communities and projects).
As part of the Partner Engagement Team, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellence in managing their portfolio of Partners from the Mobility industries and further shaping their engagement across the Forum’s value proposition.
Reporting Lines and Interactions
The Key Account Manager will report to the Head of Partner Engagement – ICT, Mobility and Advanced Manufacturing Cluster.
Internally, this person will work with other colleagues across the wider Business Engagement function as well as with content leads covering the various Mobility industries and externally with a broad range of stakeholders in the public and private domains.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships to identify meaningful engagement opportunities at the C-suite level of Partner companies; deepen account penetration with Partners by establishing strategic relationships with other relevant senior executives
- Advise Partner companies to navigate the Forum’s Centers and ensure that they derive the highest value from their engagement
- Collaborate with internal team to enhance partner engagement systems, processes, and practices
- Liaise with and coordinate internal teams responsible for delivering the elements defined in the engagement plan
- Relationship management: Build and develop trusted, long-term relationships with Partners; understand Partners’ strategic interests, and co-develop and drive the implementation of tailored engagement plans based on topics of interest to the Partners
- Serve as an internal champion to convey Partner’s interests and priorities; coordinate with internal product teams to ensure the delivery of value
The successful candidate will be assessed on
- Abilities to deepen and strengthen substantive engagements in a wide array of issue areas with partner companies
- End-to-end account management of the partner accounts, including updating CRM systems and ensuring on-time collection of fees
- Successful partner retention and proactive account management of Partners at risk of downgrade/cancellation
- Provide high quality of logistical support and guidance to help Partners navigate the Annual Meeting in Davos and other key Forum events
Preferred requirements and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (Business, Finance, Public Policy, International Affairs, and others), postgraduate degrees are preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in relevant roles (Account Management, Partnership Development, Relationship Manager, etc.)
- Affinity with the Mobility industries
- Ability to connect the dots in a complex environment, with strong service and entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, mostly in Europe and North America
- Strong business acumen and customer focus
- Proven ability to engage with business leaders at senior executive and C-suite level
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a multistakeholder environment in matrix teams
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Vaccination requirement
