Mission
Dedicated to supporting luxury department stores such as Nordstrom, Saks, and Bloomingdale's through effective Account Management. This role entails overseeing various aspects of Promotional Planning (Scent, Print, Social, Digital, Events, Visuals, POGs, Sampling Campaigns, Launch planning, .COM Planning assistance, etc.) to achieve both Retail and Gross Budget objectives as directed by the Key Account Director. Collaborating closely with internal departments, you will drive insights and innovative strategies to elevate our brand presence. Key proficiencies include strategic planning, negotiation, forward-thinking, and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an open line of communication with Planners and Buyers, offering support as required.
- Maintain and update the Corporate Ranking Report.
- Oversee advertising comps, ad proofs, and visual assets, ensuring timely completion.
- Facilitate monthly order flow projections by account, collaborating closely with the DMP team.
- Interface with the Marketing team to conceptualize new ideas, refine brand focus, devise visual animations, and plan effective launch strategies for all programs.
- Aid the Key Account Director in G2N Monitoring & Reconciliation, partnering with Sales Administration for accurate entries.
- Manage the planning and execution of Sampling Programs, collaborating seamlessly across internal departments.
- Strategically negotiate CO-AD Planning for tactics, providing programs for the 5* Calendar Input and Side by Side Calendars.
- Collaborate with the Key Account Director to foster business growth and development.
- Foster a strong partnership with the E-COM team to prioritize brand growth, identify opportunities, and drive innovation.
- Provide PUIG Pulse Recaps to Sales Ops and Field Team updates as necessary.
- Coordinate with the Education department on tailored training initiatives for specific accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops to streamline setup processes.
- Thoroughly review and endorse various contracts including Returns (RTV), Advertising (CO-AD), Markdowns (MDA), and Visuals.
- Work in conjunction with Sales Ops, Customer Service, Finance, and DMP on new store openings.
Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Key Account Management within the industry.
- Previous experience in the Beauty Specialist retail sector is preferred.
- Strong aptitude for mathematics and analytical thinking.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including adeptness in crafting and delivering presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven ability to build influential and trustworthy relationships with unwavering integrity.
- Familiarity with relevant systems is preferred, including Planning reports, Vendor Portals, Sales Adm. Reports, BW, SAP, G2N, HQ SAP (“Cube”), and IT raw data.
- Approximately 10% travel required for local retail location visits; 15% travel expected for visits to the New York office; 75% remote work arrangement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
