Your Role
As a Rare Disease Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in understanding market trends and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the rare disease therapeutic categories. Your focus will be on managing and developing key C-Suite/Administrative and RD therapeutic service line leader relationships, while also identifying and fostering potential partnership opportunities between us and our valued accounts.
Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will have three key focus areas:
Customer Engagement: Cultivate effective relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prioritized accounts. Connect with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in local health economies, striving to positively impact healthcare practices.
Account Management: Manage a set of prioritized accounts to achieve mutually beneficial objectives. Collaborate with customers on transparent account planning and leverage our unique value propositions for both Pfizer and the customer's success.
Business & People Leadership: Be a driving force in shaping local, regional, and national efforts by partnering with cross-functional teams. Demonstrate your expertise in rare disease therapeutic categories and healthcare dynamics to influence account behavior and decision-making.
Desired Qualifications
Management and/or Account Management experience strongly recommended
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
5-10 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience preferred
Prior experience in Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular areas strongly preferred
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively

Demonstrated account planning and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze data and interpret insights
Effective communication and relationship management skills
