We are a rapidly growing organization in the Woodbridge, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Junior Graphic Designer with packaging experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
The Junior Graphic Designer must have experience designing for print, social media graphics, and digital design. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized self-starter, who works well under pressure. We are looking for someone that can work independently but is also a team player with good energy. This candidate should have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast and dynamic environment.
· Capacity to handle multiple assignments simultaneously — excellent time management and project management skills
· Delivering strategically creative ideas from concept through production for projects including:
o Package Design
o Print and Digital Advertising
o Amazon Galleries/A+ Content
o Promotional Materials
o Product Catalogs
o Website Designs
o User Manuals/Guides
· Meet with Creative Director, Art Director, and internal customers to determine the scope of the project
· Work with Creative Director on determining the specific voice of the project with the understanding of the channel and demographics associated with the product
· Coordinate flexibility in design for each project to allow for multiple uses of assets across websites, ecommerce platforms, social media, and advertising
· Select colors, images, text style, and layout that complement the messaging needs
· Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
· Color correct, silo, mask, retouch images that identify the specific features of a product and convey a clear and concise message
· Manage internal servers to keep them organized and up to date with all edited and working image files
· Support Creative & Art Directors with one-off design projects as needed
· Design new brand guidelines as well as evolve current brand guidelines and standards by researching best industry practices
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Knowledge of project management software tools with ability to become proficient
- Experience with the design, preparation, and production of the following:
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
o Logo Development
o Brand Guidelines and Style Guides
o Package Design
o Advertising (billboards, magazines, flyers, inserts, coupons, booklets)
o Promotional Material and Sales Collateral (brochures, sell sheets, catalogs, posters, banners)
o Corporate Collateral (business cards, stationery, forms)
o Web Design (websites, emails, blogs, newsletters), wireframe experience is preferable, not required
o Video and Animation experience is desirable
o Social Media assets
o General Marketing Collateral
