This school year, ACE is serving approximately 10,500 children Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, and is actively pursuing other expansion opportunities with support of a national funding partner. Our Founding Principles
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications, along with other members of the ACE Scholarships team and vendor partners to coordinate and execute the strategic marketing and communication plans. This is a dynamic role which toggles between the creativity of graphic design along with assisting in the structured project management of the organization's marketing efforts on an internal marketing team of two. The Graphic Designer should be highly self-motivated, confident, goal-oriented, and possess a professional demeanor. They should be able to thrive in an informal, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. An expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with an organized methodical design perspective will allow this individual and the team to thrive. The Graphic designer will bring a new creative perspective to the team. They will provide marketing support and general assistance in a proactive, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking manner in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k), with corporate match; plus, other benefits.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications, along with other members of the ACE Scholarships team and vendor partners to coordinate and execute the strategic marketing and communication plans. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Be a leader in the design world, inspire creativity & always continue to learn.
- Create superior design work for multiple departments, including print & digital designs, event flyers, onsite event materials, promotional pieces, social media content creation, branding elements, and other visual touchpoints.
- Create design work & send projects to print.
- Maintain the adherence to ACE Scholarships brand standards. Ensure quality, design consistency, messaging and brand integrity remain intact.
- Ability to create a design or layout & translate it into multiple digital or print sizes with exceptional attention to detail.
- Design branded designs & fulfill graphic needs while hitting deadlines & pushing projects through to completion.
- Design e-mail blasts, social media touchpoints, and website imagery.
- Clearly accepts work responsibilities for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives, goals, and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, related field; or equivalent work experience
- Self-motivated & proactive in seeking opportunities to assist others on projects
- Uses time effectively and efficiently; concentrates effort on priorities; adeptly handles several tasks/projects at once.
- Ability to manage their schedule effectively & be highly organized. Able to multitask the balance of day-to-day tasks with special project while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of, and passion for, school choice and ACE Scholarships mission.
- Demonstrates ability to develop a strong internal/external (partners) team culture that empowers co-workers to achieve success.
- Ability to adhere to strategic plans and execute plans toward specific and measurable outcomes.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, design composition, advanced Photoshop & Illustrator
- Possess working knowledge of industry-standard printing practices
- Mission-centered, strategic execution of the above job roles and responsibilities
- Effective and constant communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead external team members in the successful execution of strategic objectives

- Manage all marketing plans in a fiscally responsible manner in align with budget

- Position will be an in-office position based in Denver, CO/Denver Tech Center. Hybrid working model available after a training period.
- Reports to Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. No direct reports.
- Minimal travel required, but potential optional travel could arise (>5%)
