Position Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for the creative design of a variety of customer facing assets. You will develop the overall layout and production design for both digital and physical advertisements, brochures, banners, corporate presentations and other assets in partnership with marketing leadership stakeholders. This position will span across three customer channels within Client Retail, Client Builder and Dacor Luxury – therefore there is a variety of brand guidelines and visual communication to adhere to. You’ll have a strong skill set in adobe cloud suite and other comparable software platforms and be able to work under tight timelines with fast turnaround for deliverables.
Responsibilities and Duties: Leveraging brand guidelines for each brand, design graphic assets for visual components for print & digital executions finding the most effective way to communicate messages to retail, consumer, designer and builder audiences
Create brochures, point of sale, digital banners, print ads, asset resizing as well as other assets for day-to-day marketing requirements
Assist in the creation & update of collateral & other assets such as reports, charts & presentations
Communicate and cooperate with other related parties such as product design team
Execute and manage the production files to hand off to a printing / digital vendor.
Ensure visual consistency of the brand across all customer touch points
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Background/Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Graphic design, Visual Communication design, Interaction Design, Multimedia design
2+ years of industry experience in the design of graphic assets for the Luxury industry
Highly skilled in using relevant design tools: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Skilled in using office wares – MS, etc
Necessary Skills and Attributes: Must be able to multi-task and able to handle a multiple complex at a time
Must be able to prioritize and stay focused in fast paced environment and be able to drive to assigned timelines, with solid project management skills
Team player and communicative – to make sure marketing team is kept abreast on creative development
Must demonstrate creative innovative approach to design
Effective verbal communication and listening skills
Comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced industry and matrix organization with multiple constituents
Team oriented, motivated self-starter with relationship building skills with strong ability to work well with stakeholders across multiple teams in a matrix environment
Problem-solving (defining what the problem is to be solved), actions and accountabilities
Adapting to a new organization/function “start-up” environment within a large corporation
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
Ability to deal and cope with ambiguity at times and be flexible
Provide effective and rapid problem solving when required
