Junior Accounting And Administrative Assistant

Our client a top Modeling Agency is seeking to bring on an Entry Level (Junior) Accounting and Administrative Assistant to their growing New York team.

Position: Junior Accounting and Administrative Assistant

Client: Modeling agency

Type: 5-6 months contract

Location: NYC (West 23rd Street), 5 Days a Week

Responsibilities:

•Basic accounting and book-keeping of travel and entertainment expenses (internal and model expensed)

•Reconciliation of American Express charges, statements and charge backs

•Process routine invoicing of expenses and charge backs

•Support routine accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

•Good written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to work in a team and build healthy working relationships with internal teams and clients (i.e., models)

Basically its a light accounting/book keeping job and administrative assistant combined. The person will work with

1) the models to help them with there payment, expenses reimbursement, data entry into book keeping system and some reconciliations and

2) work with management on ad-hoc things like booking tickets, event planning etc.

Only need someone with 2-3 years of experience and some accounting or data entry type background.

Very easy job, just need someone that speaks well has the right attitude and can pick up things very quickly.
