The IT Support Manager will work with a diverse team of clinical and administrative staff to ensure that patient and team needs are met and expectations are exceeded. The person in this role thrives on building effective systems, processes, tackling cross-disciplinary challenges, and providing support across all functional domains of the organization.
The ideal candidate has worked in a Managed Service Provider environment, has considerable IT support experience in a healthcare setting, and a successful track record of supporting teams with exceptional results. You have a mind for planning and problem-solving, strong communication skills, technical chops, and a desire for continuous improvement. In this role you will build and maintain effective relationships with doctors, management, and dental practice staff, and will represent our organization professionally and with integrity.
The right candidate has a high degree of advanced experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows server and workstation operating systems, network devices and firewalls, clinical systems, and back-office applications. This position works primarily with IT leadership and third-party service providers to resolve incidents and requests through a combination of onsite support, remote connectivity, email, and telephone communication.
Work from home is available although occasional on-site travel is required.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Exchange Online
- 8+ years’ experience in a technical end user support role
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and various vendor platforms
- 8+ years’ experience administering Microsoft business products such as Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 and Windows
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification in areas of CompTIA, A+, N+ and Microsoft
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Bachelor’s degree
