To be successful in this role you have the following skills:

At least 5 years of experience in IT management supporting 200+ users

5+ years of project management experience

5+ years of service delivery management experience

Active Directory & Network domain management experience

Oversee asset management system (EMAX) to include implementation and training for field staff in assigned division.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Manage Capital request/budget and planning for assigned division.

This is a remote position with 25% travel.

10+ years of IT experience

5+ years of experience working in a leadership position in an information technology or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis

Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing

Ability to manage multiple projects across many facilities

Sets-up, deploys, repairs and troubleshoots laptop and desktop PCs, printers and other PC hardware and peripherals.

Develops, implements and maintains network file server backups and disaster recovery.

Consults with end users in addressing problems and assists in formulating solutions. Maintains exceptional level of communication with end users.

Provides recommendations regarding hardware, software, processes, et cetera, in order to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Assists in training of basic systems for new and current users when necessary.

Demonstrates skill in the management of handling and distribution of sensitive unclassified information and/or classified information.

Training and certification in information technologies, strategies, and cyber security.

8+ years’ experience in a technical end user support role

Advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

Advanced experience with Microsoft Exchange Online

Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems

Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and various vendor platforms

Experience and knowledge of problem management, change management, and other I/S processes

Experience with human resource management, including knowledge of team dynamics, team building concepts, and human resource policies

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent work experience

Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting

Provide communications and escalations to IT and business area management for critical incidents and problems

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management and thrive in a cross-functional environment

Assisting in developing IT policies, procedures, and performance management processes and measures.

Perform team’s personnel activities, including hiring, work assignments, time management, training, evaluations, etc.

Directly manages all infrastructure enhancement and maintenance projects under tight deadlines, driven by user requirements, with budgetary restrictions.

Candidates must currently be permanent in the Computer Systems Manager civil service title.
